What did these look like, specifically for the Swedes?

At 20mm, I'm trying to find something that'll fit. No problems with field guns between the Revell set & the ACTA one.

The Swedish army museum has a 1/5 scale modell made in 1632 which shows the then latest version of the Regimental cannon adopted by Gustavus

Like a lot of other objects in the digital collection the photo is slightly mislabled due to the use of "cut& paste", in this case it is called a 4-pounder even though original documentation shows that it is a 3-pounder. (And the Swedish army did not use 4-pounders at the time)

Here is a drawing made in the 1670s in the armoury of the the Stralsund garrison which shows in detail the barrel of the pattern 1632 regimental cannon.

There were several patterns of regimental cannon used by the Swedes, the orginal 1629 pattern, the very light 1630 pattern that saw little use due to it's weak barrel and the 1632 pattern which corrected the problems found in both the 1629 and 1630 designs. After Gustavus death the 1632 pattern continued in use and production until Torstensson redesigned the regimental cannon in the later 1630's, the Torstensson design was so effective it remained unchanged until the 1680's.

The orginal Regimental cannon designs had been constructed with mobility in mind, probably as a result of them being designed when the Poles were the primary Swedish enemy.
Once stuck in the TYW the army was better served by a diffrent design. The drawback of the original 3 patterns were that they were first and foremost design for close fire support of the infantry with a secondary role as light standard light artillery. However the thin barrel meant that the Regimental cannon could not be use to full effect in the later role due to the limited range and power of it's round shot. The heavier barrel introduced by Torstensson increased the range by at least 1/3.

I've been using the old Airfix Napoleonic gun carriages since they are so much smaller. I also have plenty of small barrels left over from Imex ACW sets.

I would love to see pics of how you are using them. One problem I've had with regimental guns is that they take up too much space relative to the unit they are supposed to be supporting.

Not using them as yet. It's maybe a month before I have an army ready.

We're using Field of Glory- Renaissance. This means all bases have a 60mm frontage & the regimental artillery has a 40mm depth.

To me, this seems too big but the game mechanisms require a uniform frontage.

I'll post photos after everything's finished: keeping in mind I'm an average painter.
