"First trailer has been revealed for the completely unnecessary reboot of FANTASTIC FOUR which centres on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. Miles Teller (Mr. Fantastic), Michael B. Jordan (The Human Torch), Kate Mara (The Invisible Girl) and Jamie Bell (The Thing) star as superhero quartet, as they band together to stop the nefarious Victor Domashev, a.k.a. Doctor Doom (Toby Kebbell). The movie is out this August"

I still prefer the unreleased Roger corman one.

Wow, that could have been any movie until you see the FF logo.
I already had reservations about this movie and this allayed none of them.

Same here. Won't be seeing this in the theater, and I'm a huge fan of the FF. Sadly, this isn't them.

I agree with Cyrus, looks like a generic science fiction movie until you see the FF logo. I really liked the last 2 FF movies. I think I'll pass on this one. Didn't recognize any of the actors anyway.

I like Kate Mara from House of Cards, but that's not enough. No depiction of Victor von Doom oh, I mean, Victor Domashev. Given how the Mandarin was portrayed as a drunken oaf…

Is this a kid's version of the FF? Do we get the X-Babies next?

You sure this isn't fake. "in cinemas summer"??

nazrat28 Jan 2015 4:06 p.m. PST

It's real, as it's been talked about for years. It's just a crude mishandling of the source material.

I think that the new direction *could* be done very well, Negative Zone just oozes from "alternate universe" but do we really need a third FF vs. Doom movie?

They set themselves up perfectly for Annihilus or Blastaar. But we get Doom again? So sad.

Fish29 Jan 2015 3:38 a.m. PST

Once again, a FF movie that doesn't look like it is going to be a hit in the ticket office.

How can they just keep on going wrong with SO great material from Kirby?

Agendas and Hollywood writers who have never read the Comics when they were younger.
