At last, rather than paint figures to upgrade 16 man units to 24 man units, I get to paint up some new units – and it's far more rewarding.

James,

Don't sleep, keep painting! These look great. I like both the new and older styles of painting.

Yep, 29 certainly has and 41 should have. I'm loathe to do it 'wavy' because I tried it once and it just looked rubbish. If the figures came with scalloped lace sculpted on I wouldn't hesitate, but the lace is sculpted with a straight edge and that makes doing it scalloped, evenly, on 24 figures a proper pain – the sculpted edge gets in the way of the required brush strokes. It will be one of those fudges, I suppose, but one I can live with.

Mine (15mm) were a series of "teeth" connected by a line of the same colour. You are right about it being a proper pain, but once completed the overall effect is great as will yours.

Very, very nice, mate. You do the white uniforms very well, just the right amount of shading, to me.
