The Space Cadets: Away Missions game looks sweet. It's a standalone coop (also solitaire-suitable) game in a 1950s retro scifi setting. You take your crewmen and search alien ships (via modular hex tiles), encounter aliens (including brains in jars) and rescue human thralls. The rules are also posted at Board Game Geek. Feels similar to Zombicide but with a little more complexity and without gobs and gobs of minis, but still plenty enough for a fun game. Check it out: link |

Those "thralls" suggest "Robomen" to me. |
