"Jubilant Kurdish fighters ousted Islamic State militants from the key Syrian border town of Kobani on Monday after a four-month battle – a significant victory for both the Kurds and the U.S.-led coalition. The Kurds raised their flag on a hill that once flew the Islamic State group's black banner. Known as Ayn al-Arab in Arabic, the mainly Kurdish town close to the Turkish border has become a focal point in the international fight against Islamic State, an al Qaeda offshoot that has spread across Syria and Iraq. There were clashes to the southeast and southwest of Kobani, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, although it added the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) had managed to recapture a village outside the town…" Full article here link YouTube link Amicalement Armand |

I say the Kurds have earned their own state. Screw the Turks, Persians, and Iraqis. |

Oh, the Kurds will screw the Turks in time. That you can be sure of. |
