Merlin's was the best a couple of years ago.
I believe it is on Riverside but I may be off a block or so.

There is a Con in the AREA, Tactica, I think.

Merlyn's is a great shop. There is also a really nice in Couer d'Alene (or was, it's been a few years since I was there).

Hobbytown is also in Spokane, it's very mediocre though. Mostly GW.

Also , try and stay at the Davenport Hotel while you are there. It's fantastic! I won't stay anywhere else!

I second Davenport, the Sunday Buffet is superb. The Coeur d'Alene Resort is super, right on Lake Coeur d'Alene if you have a large expense account. But there are a lot of modest priced places to stay and eat. Let us know when you'll be here, I'll let the shops know.

Brian

The responses have been very helpful, I am planning to venture out in a couple of months depending on the weather for some possible job prospects and relocation. I will give a heads up before arrival. The closest shop to my current location in Wyoming is GAJO Games in Utah and what a wonderful shop it is, a true miniatures shop, the best one I have ever had the pleasure to visit. I am glad to have the positive response from the Spokane area and the possible new gaming friends to be made. Since relocating from S California 5 years ago to Wyoming I have had a few games with my son.

About 140 miles to the S.W. is the Tri-Cities of WA.
In Richland there is a large book store called "Adventures Underground" advunderground.com
They have a pretty good selection of miniatures as well, and a very active gaming group that meets there:

Hey, if you want to stop by my house, I'll let you have the authentic experience of painting up some of my piles of 15mm sci-fi. For free, even!
