I read a couple of summaries on Panzer Korps and I might be interested in trying it with 6mm minis. Couple of questions first…

How much detail about equipment and support companies do the rules go into? Do I get weapon stats and stuff with the book or source books?

How does air support and artillery work in the game?

Does the game differentiate nationalities by their equipment and doctrine?

How easy is it to come up with "missing" TO&Es like for example, if I wanted to run a Pacific Theater game could I create my own Japanese troops and equipment with what's available?

How much detail about equipment and support companies do the rules go into?
Enough to allow you to build any formation you have a TO&E for.

Do I get weapon stats and stuff with the book or source books?
You get a comprehensive list of the weapons/vehicles/aircraft by nationality with all the necessary game applicable modifier in the rulebook. The source books give you more detail but the core book is enough to play.

How does air support and artillery work in the game?
By allocation to on table divisions.

Does the game differentiate nationalities by their equipment and doctrine?
Yes. Especially if you pick up the source books as well.

How easy is it to come up with "missing" TO&Es like for example, if I wanted to run a Pacific Theater game could I create my own Japanese troops and equipment with what's available?
see answer to your first question.

Left an application to the Yahoo group. Will see about the books soon. I'm interested in the US supplements for starters, since it seems they have info on the Pacific Theater as well.

Feel free to join our Panzer Korps yahoo group where your questions are easily answered. RobH did a great job in directly answering most of your questions, we have a US supplement HAMMER OF FREEDOM that covers ETO, PTO, and MTO. We also cover the Philippine Army of 1941.

We have several free scenarios in the FREE SCENARIOS folder on your yahoo group that deal with the Pacific theater including the Japanese/China front.
