I found this toy whilst taking the family on a long overdue vacation to Universal Studios.
It looks to me just about perfect for 28mm minis.
The only bad thing is the right side is full of gaping screw holes. I'm planning on covering those and repainting it for use by another evil mad scientist.

The real thang

It reminds me a lot of car/plane from Superman & the Bulleteers.
With some TLC is should be just the thing to terrorize the good guys with.

How much does it cost? I like the concept.

Amalric24 Jan 2015 12:59 p.m. PST

It was $20 USD at the park.

Wow.

A great model and perfectly scaled for 28mm.

Any idea if it's available outside the park? I don't keep up with these sort of things, so it could be on shelf someplace, for all I know.

Very cool! I'd like to have a few of those.

That thing is awesome!

You could imagine that the screwholes are actually vents for compressed air for underwater or induce laminar air flow around the vehicle. Ok, geeking out.

MiniatureReview30 Jan 2015 4:08 p.m. PST

That is sweet. Google Foo turns up nada for that toy.

I'm sorry all, I've been out of town for work a lot lately and no time for fun.

I dug out the receipt and its called;

DM Gru Vehicle BX1253751 $19.95 USD

There was the following phone number on the receipt to order Universal Stuff that may help.
1-888-762-0820

If I had known the scarcity I would have purchased a bunch and hawked them here.

I hope that helps.
Good hunting.

Just have to ask. Is the Bogart figure Artizan? It looks great, btw.
