I like the slightly modified penetration tables, with the higher minimum penetration, and the defined "over-penetration" on the chart (still like that better than having "weak spots" on the armor values). With air support, this battle would have been … well… not a battle, which is what really happened. However, even the armor on armor clashes were one sided. Ranges are one issue (it is very had to game realistic ranges in anything other than micro scale), training is another. In this game, the USMC outclassed the Iraqis in all areas, but the Iraqis had a much larger number of assets, at close range, making the game more "playable" for the Iraqis. Chalfant |
