Does anyone make the miniatures? So far, all I have found is the Blue Moon War of 1812 mounted Kentuckians, which have the advantage of being compatible with my Blue Moon infantry but are wearing obviously incorrect hats – I know I shouldn't care but I know that I would have to take a file to them and I'd prefer to avoid the hassle, if possible.

Just looked at the Freikorps miniatures and Oh-Em-Gee! There's everything I need to do the AWI in the South. However, I seem to remember that Freikorps miniatures are on the small side. Is this the case and has anyone used them alongside Blue Moon miniatures?
Whatever the answer, the info offered so far has been invaluable. My thanks.

I think you will find them small next to BM figures.

All older 15mm is small compared to Blue Moon which is 18mm. BM is sized to compete with AB figures.

Shazbat! I guess I'll just have to avoid battles that require Lee's Legion infantry or dismounted light dragoons. frown

Also remember that if you're doing a skirmish type of game the size difference in non-tight formation troops won't be that noticeable. I use FK, BM, PP, Essex… and quite frankly they all blend in fine. Especially, since your table should have plenty of woods and terrain to represent 18C N America.

I have definitely found that size differences can be much less appearant on a sceniced table with painted units.

It definitely helps if units of radical size difference are not placed in base contact, and the figures are not mixed in the same unit.

When they are it looks like adults fighting kids LOL

Unfortunately, I'm not doing skirmishes. I ordered some Freikorps Lee's Legion just as a test; if they don't look too ridiculous, I'll sic them on Banastre Tarleton.
