Well, actually the Heat Ray weapon is in the right "paw." What's lit up is the viewer or eye for the Martian pilot. But I must say the eye lends itself very well to this sort of adaption. The Red Martian (crazier than usual Martian pilot, who was, uh tortured and escaped human clutches) does carry a mesmerizing unit the troops know as "the Dazzler." Any troops faced in the direction of the Dazzler is momentarily blinded with a -1 to Hit. Range of the Dazzler is stated as "thousands of yards." The Red Martian is an emotional Martian. He has an unnerving siren on board, and splotches of red on his machine.

We hope Mr. Red has a most pleasant remainder of his stay aboard the Third Planet. We have some prepackaged gifts to deliver in his direction with the aid of some real handy tubes.
