Hey guys, quick question, did the Vietnamese T-54's have white rims on their roadwheels in combat, can't really figure it out, i know someone on here would know right away. |

Are all the ones on display in Vietnam repainted afterwards? I guess so, they look in pretty good condition and all have white rims. Thanks for the prompt answer :) |

I think the white rims were used for parades – Soviets did something similar. |

Yes, white rims, red bolt heads etc are parade use only. |

Well, the M60's in Berlin had chrome heater pipes and tow cables, and they sported a wax coat on their paint jobs to make them nice and shiny. Better that white rims any time. |
