New WW1 British Clyno motorcycle range released today. The classic Motorcycle of WW1 in British and commonwealth service. We have 4 versions planned and this is the first one. Motorcycle and sidecar.

link These are available now at £5.50 GBP each. The rest of the range to follow soon. Other versions to follow shortly are the solo version with rider, the Machinegun carrier in sidecar and the ambulance version carrying 2 stretchers.

After WW1, a lot of surplus motor-cycles were specially converted to be used by disabled riders, and given to amputees (particularly in rural areas) to enable them to get around. I saw one of these, modified for a guy with one arm, in a local museum in Donegal about 12 or 13 years ago. |
