Hi All, My gaming group is looking into moving into Back of Beyond, and I wanted to set my Chinese warlord army in the Tibetan-Qinghai border region. Not finding any suitable ready made buildings, I took a stab at trying to build something myself. Here is the first test building, a Tibetan home:
And here is an example of the real thing:
Feedback and suggestions for any improvements before I build more would be much appreciated. A few additional photos are on the blog: link Thanks! Chris |

That looks fantastic. Been tempted by a 19th century Tibetan force for a while, but outside Copplestone I've yet to find suitable figures, although I'm aware horse armour didn't change a great deal over the centuries. |

A stunning project build for back of beyond, the attention to detail is of the highest level and just in awe. What makes it really stand out are the windows, any insights on how you achieved these? Sorry to say I'm getting an error notice on the link All the best though for hopefully further additions and posts :-) J |

Sorry for the dud link. Please try this: link The windows, doors and trim are from photographs I found online, then shrunk down and manipulated them in Photoshop. I don't own the source photos, so didn't post my versions for download – sorry! |
