Well actually it's still the same airframe that not only your daddy flew but your grandaddy as well. Last new build B-52 rolled off the lines in 1962!

That makes the youngest B-52 53 years old!

Amazing photo!

Anyhow the USAF has for the first time ever brought back to life a B-52 from the boneyard. This aircraft is replacing another one damaged beyond repair.
