Excellent blog -I use tile grout/adhesive instead of Tetrion-worth a go. I'm a big fan of basing stuff up and then painting it too . It just seems to make the whole process quicker and you can start playing with the toys. That a great range irregular have -I hope they do some advancing figs at some point. |

Are you planning to do the Papal Zouaves? (I drew a mini-comic about the Canadian battalion of the Papal Zouaves) |

Hello I'm always happy that somebody, above all from abroad, is interested in the Pontifcal Army of Risorgimento period..we share same interest..is from years that i developp a 25/28mm Pontifical Army for the Battles of Castelfidardo and Mentana…mainly with Mirliton and converted Foundry minis…i would like, also , to have a try at Irregular..if only there was still some troop types that are lacking to my lead pile/painted minis..for what i see..thanks also to your painting they are nice….as regards to the colour of guns , i can assure you that they are in the yellownish green typical of French Artillery of the period…in fact Pontifical Army was, with the exception of few details and some specifical units, a miniature replica in doctrine/uniforms/armament of a vintage (for the period) French Army….if you need any particular info, i'll be glad, as i did with other TMP menbers to help you… regards …my mail: ital.wars@libero.it |
