Dear all,

My family and I are moving back to Belgium for personal reasons in a couple of months' time. That of course means the end of Mabuhay Miniature Painting Service (MMPS) so on Monday morning, 19 January 2015, Philippine time I will stop accepting orders for Ready-Made, Painted units.

Until then you can still get a final order in at a 10% discount. Use this code TIVYELL6AYOD in our shopping basket to get that discount. Several of our products are already sold out and stocks of the remaining ones are getting very low so do not wait if you want to get in that last order. Also keep in mind that waiting times are already 6 weeks long so do not order if you are in a big hurry.

After 19 Jan I will sell off my remaining (new, unpainted) boxes of Perry and Warlord plastics at a very good price on our website unless someone buys up the entire lot. Send me an e-mail if you are interested in buying the lot and I will provide you with a list on January 20.

My painters will lose their job at MMPS but I already had a couple interested parties inquire about offering them a new painting job so they will be fine. I want to get the best possible conditions for them so if there are some amongst you that would be interested in hiring 3 very experienced (over 15.000 28mm figures under their belts each!) Cebu, Philippines based painters send me an e-mail and we'll negotiate.

If there is someone out there who is interested in taking over MMPS, painters, stocks, paints, paintbrushes, furniture and accumulated painting instructions send me an e-mail at the same address and we will talk. I'm not looking for a big payout, you can get MMPS for a steal, but I do want the best for my painters so there will be no compromises there. They were well paid and well taken care of and that has to stay that way.

I know that none of you actually live in Cebu City but in this day and age that does not have to be a problem. I ran MMPS for 6 months with me on one island and my painters on another island painting at their own homes. They are professionals and don't need constant supervision so that is perfectly doable with e-mail, scans, text messages and Skype nowadays.

I already thanked my registered customers but I would like to extend that thanks to everyone who has done business with MMPS, be it as a customer or as a supplier, in the almost 5 years of its existence. I am especially grateful to Ian at War & Peace games Australia for providing me with figures to paint for you all and for basically being a very, very nice and decent person to do business with!

I'm still too young to sit on my thumbs and do nothing all day long so once back in Belgium I will not quietly fade away as old soldiers do but you will hear from me again, albeit not with another painting service. :-)

Cheers,

Fons Libert
