I currently have a 28mm medieval army based for FOG/DBx I would like to also use for Lions Rampant. In the past we have tried basing the individual units on steel bases from Wargames Accessories and then using Litko wooden bases with sheet magnet. We found these didn't hold the cav very well because of the weight (they would tip over or fall off). I was thinking trying a thicker/stronger magnet on the base like 60 mil magnet. Has anyone tried this or have any other ideas? I know this has come up before but I didn't find a recent post about it. Steve |

From what I have read, it sounds like some people are using a multifigure base as "a man." |

Have you tried the mag bases and steel trays from Shogun miniatures? I've mounted 28mm BTD knights on those and they don't fall off even when you turn them upside down…….can use them as multi units or single figures. |
