Looking at this list from BGG, it looks like "The Sword to Adventure or the maybe the WW1 rules might work:

Flames in the Punjab – Sikh Wars
The Sword in India – Indian Mutiny
The Sword Gone to Texas – Wars of Texas Independence
The Sword in Canada – Riel Rebellion
The Sword in Mexico – Maximilian's Intervention into Mexico
The Sword in the Caribbean – Pirates
The Sword in the Philippines – Moro Rebellion
The Sword In Gaul – Caesar's Gallic Wars
The Sword in Palestine – WWI in the Desert
The Sword to Adventure – Skirmishes and small wars 1908-1931
The Kris And The Flame – James Brooke adventure in the South China Seas

And most of those can be found on the Jackson Gamers website. Or used to be.

you could purchase "The Sword to Adventure" (a variant for Skirmishes and Small Wars 1908-1931)…supplement to the TSATF…purposly aimed at the conflict you mentioned plus many others…Different Troop Classes , Modern and Light MGs, Magazine Rifles, Grenades, Armoured Cars ecc…are contemplated

Hal,

Having played many a TSATF and variants game (obvious since our group helped Larry develop the orginal these many years ago), I would suggest, as others have, that you use "The Sword to Adventure." It was devised to help cover the "skirmishy" aspect of the early part of the 20th Century. We've used it for Back of Beyond China, the Indian North "Central " Frontier, and a Very British Civil War.

I am doing it in 28mm. Had not heard of "The Sword of Adventure." I have many variants of TSATF. Where can I purchase it from? Thanks – Hal
