Could anyone please tell me the colour of Swedish gun carriages for the Thirty Years War? |

I have a source that dates back to 1675 that says Bluish grey with yellow metal fittings. I rather doubt in the 30 years war they had standardized gun carriage colors. Maybe a Swedish TMPer has more info. I also found this video of 30 year war re-enactors and there is a field gun briefly displayed past the 3:00 minute mark. link This link might help as well. link |

I would agree, the Swedish literature I have does not mention any colours on gun carriages, neither does the Osprey MAA book on the subject |

My 2 DM worth, prior to league OG Augsburg, I would just paint cannon carriages brown wood or grey. All of them |
