You already know the Itu'a Immortals -- aka the Stikk Assault Crabs. Now meet the Itu'a Myriads, endless swarms of smaller Itu'a with long rifles, supported by heavy weaponsworms:

And the high command encased in a huge Satrap biomecha (provided with the suit and out of it too):

Still to be revealed -- the enormous Rukh warbeast -- large enough to carry several squads inside its gullet!

But … but I already have too much to paint!

When will these be available?

BaldLea15 Jan 2015 5:25 a.m. PST

Alien looking aliens!

Cyclopeus15 Jan 2015 7:06 a.m. PST

Very nice design and paintwork.

For some reason, "Men in Black", comes to mind!

Those are wonderful! I *so* wish these were out in 28mm, my eyesight and nerves no longer allow me to paint 15s :-(

khurasanminiatures15 Jan 2015 11:56 a.m. PST

Ben Siens sculpted these, as he had the Assault Crabs. Still stuck in the midst of renovations but will release these when the full store comes back on….

If one wished to proxy infinity,'s combined army these could fit a few.

Love them….I plan to use them w the horrids from ravenstar studios

"My Dear, you have a serious infestation of crabs there!"

Nice figures, good paint job.

I hope they have a goodly number cast up. I have a feeling there will be a big run on them.

khurasanminiatures16 Jan 2015 5:40 p.m. PST

Yes they're actually all cast up, just need to get life back to normal so I can return to taking and fulfilling orders. I shipped nine orders today actually but it was a Herculean task getting them packed, and they were all domestic. With all the construction still underway that's about the best I can manage for 1-2 weeks more.

Damn, those are great!

khurasanminiatures17 Jan 2015 8:13 a.m. PST

They might share the same inspiration as tyranids but I dont think the Itu'a are not- anything. I think they're their own cool thing. grin

They remind me of a cross between gremlins and tyranids, but a design all their own. Really a group of fun and cool sculpts.

BlackWidowPilot Fezian17 Jan 2015 10:16 a.m. PST

Biologically-based technology was a trope before Games Sweatshop came up with their Tyranids. These are self evidently their own unique take on that trope of sci fi literature.

I like 'em.evil grin

"… So what not- is this one? Not-Tyranids?…"

It seems more appropriate to ask what earlier imagery/tropes GW "borrowed" and declared original but let me just say that the whole bio-tech, alien infestation, DNA/gene stealing/copying, crab/insect like aliens have been around long before GW.
