Just had an update from the Change. Org website saying that Royal Mail have confirmed they are repealing the limit on sending paint through the post.

Previously you couldn't send more than 4 140ml bottles per package without running the risk of it being refused. They have now advised that whilst the 150ml limit still applies, you can now send as many pots as desired.

Goober, that is a needed change and thanks for the confirmation.

Thanks for the post, we've got a news story due to run soon as well to spread the word!

It is good news, but the odd thing is that several on- line companies seem to have been ignoring this rule with impunity. I bought a WW2 set of Vallejo paints and a set of game colours-total of 24 pots, all delivered by Royal Mail!
The excuse that has been offered in the past by Royal Mail is " It's not us, it's the airlines"; so what has changed?

Yes I too got the "It's the airlines" excuse. I do understand it though, imagine the catastrophe if a tinlet of paint should explode and managed to ignite the thousands of gallons of fuel in the wings… ;O)

I didn't order any, but Amazon has been 'suggesting' box sets of Vallejo to me for weeks before this change.

Alas, a bit late to save White Ensign, that excellent UK company that I used to get paints, and other naval items from.

Not sure if they closed for other reasons, or if this had an impact on them, but it couldn't/wouldn't have helped if they were dealing with such restrictive rules.
