Chasseur,
Most excellent- you capture the essence of wood painted in ochre that I always envisioned but yet to be successful in doing!
I was always wondering how the wurst should be painted. I like the full leather covering approach. I shall do mine that way.
My only angst, if these would be such painted for my collection, is the color choice of the leaves stuck in the cockades. I am not familiar of any clover of that bright green color.
Well done!

Well done

I've always thought that the brown coats and white trousers made an excellent combination.

Nice work again – you have managed to get an efficiency/results balance that is really quite amazing. I love how you have shaded the bicornes – and done the wursts!

Bases too are terrific.

Really lovely work and very fast. You are probably about 10 times quicker than me:)

I never knew the Wurst stayed on – I always thought it was taken off like the French carriage box – glad I saw this before I got mine wrong.

Very nice, and look really good. Must get round to doing something similar
