After a very long hiatus I'm looking at my old SFB CVA. ADB has F18's but I find nothing satisfying for F14's and A10's. I'm aware of Studio Bergstrom, GZG, Brigade Models and such have a variety of mini's that fit the bill. My problem is that I have plans to add fleets of the races that those mini's were intended to support. |

Why don't you go buy an Aircraft Carrier plastic model kit from Revell, etc. and use the the mini fighters from that kit? It's an idea for you to consider. You could add a few bits on to them and make them look more "outerspacey" - ZG |

Or kitbash a few fighters from the old AOG fleet scale fighters. Bruce Graw still has an inventory of the B5 range. - ZG |

Iron Wind Metals has some in two lines link link There are also the fleet action scale fighters of the Babylon5 universe link Also various options on Shapeways both real world and SF. Some real world types in the C.A.P. Aero 1/1200 aircraft might work as well as some game pieces which may be had through eBay. (edit) Various fighter types in the Battlefleet Gothic line. While OOP you can find them on eBay. I may even have a few around though the price they go for sort of embarrases me. Al |

Okay, decrypt the acronyms please… |

SR, there still aren't any F14/A10s, but there have been some very nice scratchbuilt ones that have been shown off on the Facebook page "SFU Miniatures Painting and kitbashing tips". He did post a step by step construction process by the way. :) These:
He's also done F111s, and some other stuff. Pity it wasn't feasible for them to be converted to masters so ADB could sell them. |

I just thought of another line of fleetscale fighters. link Starblazers Fleet battle system has battlecraft (fighters) in their EDF, Gamilon, and White Comet fleets. |

billclo, that is exactly what I was looking for!! Thank You. My Google Fu was not finding that. Mute Bystander, SFB is Star Fleet Battles, ADB is Amarillo Design Bureau. I'm assuming those are the acronym's you're referencing. |

Pity it wasn't feasible for them to be converted to masters so ADB could sell them. Pity it's only on Facebook. Please do pass my admiration on, though. Few more acronyms used above: CVA attack carrier, AOG Agents of Gaming(Original Babylon 5 ship game producer), EDF Earth Defense Force. Doug |

Crewchief, Thanks. I should have known SFB. I had forgotten ADB! Beast, AOG – duh, of course! EDF, no excuse for missing that one. Sigh, at least I have not forgotten CVA (moving airfield target on water -me showing my USAF roots no doubt – but failed to connect it with spaceships.) Not a good memory day there… |

De nada! If I've risen in the morning, and remember my own name, it's shiny! (If, instead, you'd lashed out with 'I already knew that; I'm not DUMB!', that wouldn't been a first experience for me, either. No good deed…) And, yes, shades of flyboy showing. ;->= Doug |

May want to try B3 for fleet-scale trek minis: link Use GHQ Micro Modern bombers too for maritime strike craft. link link
