Here's a few nice pics from one of the New Zealand playtesters Cam Millar….Blucher is all about grand scale battles and this is a refight of Waterloo from the 100 days campaign:)
"The game set up was below. The left third of the table is the classic Waterloo battlefield. The Prussians start at Wavre. Rather than follow history, Grouchy is deployed to give a chance to intercept the Prussians. I used the two armies/one MO system – so Napoleon and Grouchy were two French armies, with Wellington and Blucher two Allied armies. Wellington threw MOs for the Allies, Napoleon for the French. The area the Prussians moved through on the way to Waterloo sounded pretty difficult in reality.

That looks very effective. I know nothing of this system. Are the counters in the early photos "blinds"?

Yes their's Artillery…in Blucher you either have grand batteries or added to brigades:)

Based solely on his previous games I would not be surprised if Blucher is an excellent game.

Just might be the excuse I needed to try out 10mm or 6mm.:-)

Great looking game, that terrain really looks super, you don't frequently see faux-fur done to a grand scale game with such beautiful effect.

Beautiful; exactly what a wargame should look like!
