Funny! Actually, I quite like the re-enactment photos, because it gives a good example of what soldiers look like at a distance. Note the lack of distinction between straps and waistcoat, irrelevance of highlights, etc. All those GW style painting methods don't really reflect reality. As a poor painter of 28mm, it gives me hope! |
