Can anyone suggest a good book about the battle of Agnadello? I'm trying to find one that covers in some detail the composition of the opposing forces, as well as a good battle description. English would be nice, but I can deal with italian or french.

A very good description is given in: P. Pieri, Il Rinascimento e la Crisi Militare Italiana, Einaudi, 1962. Some time ago I translated an article of Luigi Casali on the Battle of Agnadello, interpolated with additional material from Pieri. If I can find it in my Hard Disk, I can send it you by mail. My mail is: davi(at)univpm(dot)it

Here's a thread from back in 2008 when I was planning a refight – TMP link
