No figure purchases in 2015, just paint the stuff I already have and sell off the stuff I will not use in the foreseeable future. Also, work on terrain!

Wish me luck!

I
said that last week, then saw some bargains on E-Bay,then saw Perry's new B.I.F., releases……and….and….sigh…I am always paranoied about companies going out of buisness and then losing out on figures,it has happened many times. So I think I am hopeless, but I agree with you in theory.

I always say that… but I always say if I go to my LGFS, I should buy something to support them…

Jamesonsafari12 Jan 2015 6:58 a.m. PST

good luck with that…

Good luck. My purchases are down to almost nothing, and the basement has been getting cleared out as well.

I'll keep the blog updated. I did get a lot of painting done over the holiday, going to take pictures and get a gallery going. I am seeing an uptick in my painting output, let's see if I can maintain that…

Jozis, I was thinking the same myself, hopefully I can stick to it…

I've been in economically enforced restraint mode for the past 6 years, it sucked. Glad it's over.

That's crazy talk

Actually, I did the same thing last summer – and the only minis I have bought were a set to paint up and donate (already done) for a charity auction – otherwise working on the big lead pile

I am not going to get into any new projects till after the wedding in August. Only supplies and the aircraft I need for my Cold War Naval game I am planning on for the con May. My lead pile is big enough for a year or to of serious painting. Which should last me a decade as I am not a serious painter.

I just hope that nothing shinny comes out before then. I already have 3 new games on my list of things to try/buy. Lion Rampant has turned into a $250 USD adventure over the last 6 months.

Wow that is admirable, ambitious, and daunting. I think I will attempt the same with one modification. I can buy with money from the sale of my existing hobby stuff.

^^ That is always a reasonable compromise.
