Once upon a time we had the old West End Games minatures rules and a tie-in with Ral Partha to produce figures. Then they lost the licence to Wizards of The Coast and their policy of random collectable boster packs! You can still find the rules on EBay though, as well as things like the Imperial and Rebel sourcebooks.
Mainly for the RPG but plenty of background for the minatures game as well, not to mention that these old books were primary sources for all the EU stuff that followed later. |

Would shell out reaonable coin for this in an instant. Currently using Tomorrow's War for my son's SW figs, specific codexes for the 40K rules would be a hit.
Much less angst ridden, apocalyptic universe. More fun and more flexibility. |
