Does anyone know how long CMK Maritime Line 1:72 scale rowing boats are? I was thinking of converting some to boats for a French and Indian War scenario. Rod |

I'd guess from this picture:
That the row boat is about 1.25". Why? Well, if the crane's door is about 2.5 scale feet wide, then the rowboat is about 7.25 scale feet long. Converted from 1:72 that makes ~1.25 inches -- unless I've made some silly math error… BTW: Those are very nice sets! I wish they'd do them in O scale for more 28mm-ish fun. |

Well that makes them too small for my purposes. Hannants are selling them at £9.90 GBP for a set of two, which is why I assumed they might be larger than that, at least 3-4 inches long. I guess I will have to scratch build some. Rod |

Jeff, I have asked Hannants, who have 4 sets (of 2 each) in stock. They are 2.25 inches long. Too small for what I wanted, and quite expensive. I really need them to be at least twice that size, so will think again Rod |
