Okay I think I will use the figure discussed in this tread TMP link for 25/28mm Tarzan/Korak VSF Meriem. Discussed indirectly in this thread TMP link also. Not all that great for my purposes but okay. And I have it… I am still looking for a good 15mm figure though. Just not found it yet though. Something between this link picture, too childish and innocent, and cheesecake. I suspect, like a 19th Century Jane, but unlike Jane, being raised as a virtual slave under a stereotypical arab figure, she would start being dressed modestly. Most Islamic women I have met (except ones consciously rebelling) dress very modestly. Unlike Jane, Meriem's clothing would probably be "worn" appearing to slightly ragged initially. Still, I do not envision here as near naked as some artists have depicted her. Possibly something akin to link but slightly more "clothing coverage" even if ragged/ripped from the jungle oriented. More erbzine.com/mag4/0488.html looking. Suggestions for 15/18mm? |

LOL, I have those for Tarzan and Jane. Hmm, maybe I need a 19th Century American Woman figure for Jane and another Jungle Lord/Hero type for Tarzan! I might have been approaching this 180 degrees off kilter! EDIT: See new thread – TMP link |

Wow, that link was annoying. First, redirected to a logon screen, then an expanded picture the same size as the one on the page. Anyway, you said 'Would this girl work?', while Glenn said ' too childish and innocent, and cheesecake' and 'she would start being dressed modestly.' So, no, I don't think so. On his new thread, I suggested a fantasy line, some tatter-clothed peasant woman might be nondescript enough to pass. Doug |

Okay: Korak/Meriem in 15mm – Blue Moon Tarzan and Jane in 15mm – The equivalent of Foundry – DA011, Lord of the Jungle and The equivalent of Foundry – DA018, Lady Constance or maybe DA016, Mrs. Stanhope Or something similar. Open to more suggestions… |

Not in rags but almost totally naked "Jane" link
also the "sorceress" from "13th Warrior" I have her and she's very close to 15mm. link from Splintered Light Bear Clan Command. or the Copplestone Castings Northland Characters? (I suspect they might be closer to 18mm.) link

deflatermouse, Nice miniatures but you missed this: "… Something between this link picture, too childish and innocent, and cheesecake…" and this "… she would start being dressed modestly…" |

Nah… I'm used to being purposefully ignored. By the great and small, alike. ;->= Doug |
