Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes 28mm Ashigaru with bows but very little armor? I'm trying to find some Ashigaru that I can use as a Levy unit for SAGA. Also, if anyone has 8 Old Glory Ashigaru with Teppos (arquebusses) that they like to sell (painted or unpainted), please contact me at Burker1 (at) aol (dot) com. I'd really like some but I don't need an entire bag of 30 of them. Thanks. |

The only 28mm Ashigaru I can think of is this: link You can make 20 bowmen & 5 arquebus (or the reverse) with a boxed set. They are armored, though, so maybe not good as a levy. |

In the alternative, does anyone make 28mm Ronin with bows? |

I'm looking for metal, not plastic figures. But I appreciate the link. |

I believe that TAG (The Assault Group) makes two sets of four each metal Ashigaru archers in light armor. They call them followers, instead of ashigaru. TIG |
