Nothing new. He is just updating the original LTL to the "final" version of the THW gaming engine. If you are unfamiliar with his games you can download the FREE generic game which will give you a feel for his games: link |

Nothing new. He is just updating the original LTL to the "final" version of the THW gaming engine. Not true sir. Pulps do not lend itself well to the CR Final Mechanics. It's more story driven and a lot less bloody. If you look at the original LTL you'll see it didn't use regular mechanics for THW games back then and the same is true of Director's Cut. So there's shooting, melee, movement, and reaction tests different than what you find in other THW games. So you'll see the speed and smooth mechanics of the current final version, but it is significantly different. |

The thing I liked best in the original was the campaign generator – worth buying just for that. |

You mean I was wrong? Again!!?? No, you were just "misinformed". Of course I started it in the original post. :) |

Ed, how does this differ from the existing LTL? I have it and enjoy it, though I find the flow of a scenario confusing still, despite the sample games you've posted. |

Who painted the cover? Is it from an old pulp cover? I've seen it before. Same pic on the back cover of Adamant Entertainments "Thrilling Tales" (Savage Worlds Edition). Love to know the artist, anyways looking for more inspiration. :) |

"Who painted the cover? Is it from an old pulp cover?" I believe that it was originally a pulp cover by either Norm Saunders or Ed Bergey. They have similar styles. |

M1911Colt I found it! The pulp cover is by Rafael de Soto. I should have recognized it faster as he was one of the better cover artists on "The Spider" pulp magazine. |

M1911Colt/ Shadow – The cover was put together by my graphic artist so your guesses are better than mine. Here's the TOC file:///C:/Users/ED/Downloads/01LTLTOC%20(1).pdf Servo 3000 Much smoother getting you from 1 scene to the other. Combat is easier and there's less reaction tests to go through. No more Test of Wills either. |

Thanks Shadow. LtL looks very cool by the way Ed. Once I rise again above the poverty level. I just might have to check it out. Oh, and your link doesn't seem to work. |

>>The cover was put together by my graphic artist so your guesses are better than mine.<< All three artists that I mentioned, Saunders, De Soto and Bergey used similar styles for pulp magazine covers. That's why I initially made a mistake as to who the artist is. They are all assuredly worth looking at for pulp graphics projects. Saunders produced art for both pulp covers and later for paperback covers. |
