I was looking for depictions, images, photos, diagrams or even animations of a Prussian company column of 1870…. does anyone have one they can link to, or show here please? |

I like your 1866 stuff -what make are the Austrians? |

The Austrians (and the Italians for that matter) are my own designs that I had cast up a few years ago. |

This is exactly the information I've been looking for as well -thanks guys. Stracm -do you cast up your figs for sale -???? I'm very taken with your blog and the 1866 games particularly are reminiscent of the great Charles Grant! How big is your table? |

If you are into 1866 you should check out Wargaming in History Volume 8 which covers the battles in Bohemia leading up to Koniggratz. |

Mashrewba, I am hoping that a local manufacurer will pick them up (I need to expand my collection), but the issue is that I haven't made Prussians, and can't see me ever having the time to do so. I do have masters made for Bavarians, Hanoverians and Danes (for 1864), but doubt they will see the light of day. Our table size is 4.8 meters by 2 meters. We have our first game gor the year timorrow – a Franco-Prussian by chance. I will post some images if I get time. |

Good news -well depending on the size there are North Star and Foundry -lots of Prussians out there but Hanoverians and Danes we need!! My Austrians are mainly Battle Honors and also have some of the old Helion/Baker Co range. The North Star infantry are too big to go with these but, strangely the cavalry isn't. I'll keep following your blog :). Could you put some close ups of your figs on -I'd be very interested to see them even if they never go into production. |
