Hi all,
We had a very fun game using Maurice yesterday at the Devon Wargames Group.

We were playing a scenario I created around the Long Island battle in 1776. If you would like to know more then just follow the link to the DWG Blog.

Jonathan, that's a nicely prepared game, and with lovely 15mm Polly Oliver figs too! Thanks for the link.

Good report, Jonathan. I haven't played Maurice for over a year now and your game inspires me to use this scenario to get back into it again. From memory, Maurice is a two player game using 1 Action Card deck. Am I correct in thinking you used 1 Action Card deck? If so, how did you play it with four players?

When we played with 4 people, we had 2x decks shuffled together…..

Great stuff! A beautiful game, and a very nice AAR. I bet the cavalry weren´t happy with missing out on the fun!

Cheers Guys, thanks for your comments.
We played a sort of tag game with the two British players deciding between them where they would play various cards and manage the combats on their part of the line with one American player firefighting their moves.

It was great fun
