Hi, hopefully the some quick questions for the illuminati Winning the fight markers. Its says that these are only lost when you lose the fight. Am I right in thinking this does not include retire/fall backs from morale checks as a result of shooting? LOS for shooting. Does and artillery gun need LOS to shoot at its target? is it measured from centre of square to centre of square? an it shoot over friends (or enemies)? thanks in advance Simon |

I would argue that retiring or falling back from bad morale is an indication that you have lost the fight and would remove the marker in that instance. Artillery doesn't need LOS, it can fire over friendly troops and it's measured by the whole square rather than the centre. If that makes sense? |

Hello Chaps You only need to lose the "winning the fight" markers if you actually lose a fight or withdraw from an enemy assaulting you. You can of course have house rules as fit the situation. Guns can shoot over bases of troops but not over hills, buildings or woods. Glad you are enjoying SB! martin |

So, Martin, do you measure from square centre to centre to determine LOS through trees etc? or can it be any part of the square that blocks LOS? thanks Simon |
