Don't know if this has been posted before. Had these rules when they first came out and miniatures to go with them. link |

Hinchliffe in the UK did produce a range in 1976. They turn up on ebay now and again. link |

There were rules out for Barsoom also. I have a lot of the figures which were expensive in the 70's.. $3.95 USD for a pack of 6-8 figures! |

I think the Burroughs estate had some issues with these rules, so the print run was pretty low. As a result they were in high demand by TSR collectors. A few years back a copy sold on Ebay for more than $500.00 USD |

It's in the archive now because the ERB estate had a fit when TSR tried to sell the rules for Barsoom. Probably one of the first cease and desist orders on a game company. It quickly went into public domain after that. |

Apparently copies usually run about $300 USD when they show up on Ebay. Was rather hoping the movie would do better – my copy was looked at once and put back in the shipping envelope. Was hoping for something like that $500. USD Unfortunately I didn't pick up more than a couple of the Hinchliffe figures. Would have been nice to be able to field a force. |

Thanks for the link! I've wanted a look at this set for years – but silly money on Ebay has prevented that before. |
