I am excited about Little Wars being held at the Lombard Westin Hotel. It is a very nice facility and has a lot to offer towards growth. For those that do not know, the Westin Lombard is ranked #2 of 10 Hotels in Lombard according to Tripadvisor.com. They post 484 reviews on the Westin. Normally their traditional rooms start at $197.00 USD per night. We have locked in a room rate for attendees at $119.00 USD per night. I hope that we will be able to bring that rate down, but a lot of that will depend on our ability to fill rooms. With that said, I am asking all that book hotel rooms when they attend Little Wars 2016 to book their stay at the Westin Lombard. As a sort of incentive we will be offering "perks" to those that book two or more room nights. Some of the perks I have in mind are swag bags, raffle tickets on prints & terrain boards, as well as some convention discounts, and other possible discounts as well. We will also be working on organizing some spouse activities for those that book their stays as the Westin. We will have updates as we work out the details for this on the website, news letter, and TMP.
For those that missed or forgotten. The DuPage Expo Center is up for sale, and we were notified that they will no longer be available after 2015. So this required us to find another location for the 2016 convention Over all we will be saving about $500.00 USD in convention costs from what we paid to hold the convention at the DuPage Expo Center. |

Is that the Adepticon Hotel from last year? If so, nice location with lots of places to eat around it and a fair bit of space to game for now and the future. |

Yes it is. Since they moved to Schaumburg. BUT remember this is not until 2016. |

There is no booking code at this time for the 2016 convention, the room block has not yet been opened since it is 15 months out. The last weekend in April. |
