Made this small diorama for a Chancellorsville game we did in 28mm.

wagon looks more Napoleonic period than ACW. Both sides used converted supply wagons for ambulances. But, having said that, great paint job. |

Outstanding work The black trim on the surgeon is a great detail. There is some controversy as to the colour of the sash, as some sources say it was green (it was green in the Union army) – my copy of the Confederate uniform regs is actually pretty vague on this (although it is clear that the braid colour is black) and I think a red sash looks pretty good! |

Thank you all very kindly for your encouraging words! @Frederick: Yeah, I was also in two minds about this, I couldn't find a clear source on this. I was hoping some of the many US readers on TMP, with access to your excellent local museums, could shed light on the matter. But- I'm very glad you liked my interpretation!
