Earthlike only in that they're not gas giants. They think. They can't really see them, only the indirect effects on the star they orbit. Still, it wasn't that long ago scientists were debating whether extrasolar planets even existed. Now, according to this article, we have confirmed 1800+ in our vicinity. Hyperdrive + terraforming = instant interstellar civilization! Woot! |
