Just added two Leman Russ MBT's to my IG collection. Even though I don't 40k anymore, we do occasionally play Warpath 1.0 which works best with bigger armies so I'l try and paint up a unit or two from the closet before each game.

Neat colour scheme

Thanks!
The color is Krylon Ruddy Brown spray primer. I used it for the whole army…

…Which sped up the painting process immensely. I try to use Krylon Camo or colored primer (grey, ruddy brown, etc) sprays whenever possible now to combine the prime and basecoat steps.

Warpath 1.0? Whazz that? And how do I get to check out these rules? Thanks.

Warpath 1.0 was the first version of Warpath. It's basically Kings of War with some sci-fi bits bolted on. Like KoW, it works best with really big forces and is a great way to play apocalypse size games of 40k within a more reasonable amount of time as we did here: link
Our homebrew rules for Titans and Superheavies are there also.

The current Warpath rules are 2.0 and are designed for a smaller (one or who platoons per side) game. I haven't tried them yet as when I dig out my 40k figs I want BIG games.

It's no longer on the Mantic website, but you can find the 1.0 rules here:

Totally legal, as it and all Warpath versions are/were offered free from Mantic.
