I must admit to having had a very enjoyable time painting this lot, taken about four months to put together and I still have units to paint and terrain to make. I put everything on the boards and had a bash with them which resulted in an American victory – the Continentals were stationary and put a lot of fire into the advancing British and Hessians, so much so that my splendid Hessian Grenadiers were the first unit to break. Boards are only partially finshed and textured, 4' x 3' a nice compact size. Buildings are by Timecast as are trees, all mdf bases lazer cut for me by the excellent Tony Barr at East Riding Miniatures. All 6mm figures are from Baccus and painted by myself. Cheers, Lee.
First from the field today – my splendid Hessian Grenadiers!

Very nice. I get tempted to do a 6mm AWI project every once in awhile. |

Looks terrific, Lee. And thanks for reminding me that I need to put in an order to Tony Barr for more 25mm AWI bases! |

Your figures and table look awesome. What rules are you using for this game? |
