Please look at the pattern on the underside of these bases:
This happens to be the top of the only sample I have:
If I could find out where I got them, I might be able to get a few more and use them as quick corridor WALLS for 15mm SF. Any idea where they might be from? Thanks, Dan |

They look like the old GW cavalry non-slotta bases. Maybe more correctly I should say Citadel Bases… around circa 1987-88 |

It's first generation cavalry slotta base from Citadel/GW. The first generation of slotta bases had to be cut/punch out, but did come with more options for positioning figures – in this case there were the 4 slots for the two cavalry tabs to go into, and for the square bases you had straight on, or diagonal options – both on the same base. I have a couple of these old cavalry bases, but they are long since OOP by GW, don't know if any other manufacturers do them. HTH. |

OOP! That's what I was afraid of. Thanks so much for the background information. I had a feeling some of you guys would know which base was which based on style. Dan |

If you want cheap SciFi walls, just buy a few sheets of embossed styrene sheets sold for plastic scale modelling. You can use something like 2mm or 4mm spaced planking, spray it silver and cut to whatever lengths that you will need for your corridors and rooms. Cheaper than bases. |
