I like the sculpting of Tumbling Dice 1/72 scale figures – despite being metal they seem to have the realistic proportions usually only found in plastic ranges. The 13th century samurai shown might put some people off because a fair bit of assembly is required but it does make for better poses and variations.

Quite a few accuracy gaffes in the command set though:
1) 16th century nobori banner rather than than 13th century hata-jirushi
2) Unarmoured figures wearing 16th century kataginu with big shoulders and the absence of eboshi caps (no males except monks or children would be seen bareheaded like that in the early period)
3) Although not clear from the pics, all their 13th century samurai carry 16th century katana/wakizashi swords instead of tachi

Poor historical research lets down so many figure ranges – unfortunately Osprey is often the culprit.
