I'm not impressed. Nine infantry poses, two are leader types, one is the inevitable grenade thrower looking more like he's making snow angels, and one with a shotgun.
GHQ's infantry sculpts are always nice, but this group is just plain stiff and boring, and to few poses.

I know. I sound like that old Woody Allen joke about the two old ladies in the restaurant One says, "I don't like this place, the food is terrible." The other says, "Yes, and the portions are so small."

They also look remarkably like the German GHQ infantry in terms of pose (the officer, the grenade thrower, the kneeling rifleman, the MG gunner, and one of the SMG guys). It makes me wonder whether they don't have a set of common armature figures and simply dress them with the appropriate helmet and kit.

I agree. I was looking forward to the Marine Weapons Set for I was hoping the .30 cal MG would be water cooled.

I would be surprised if GHQ did not have a set of basic poses that they added weapons, helmets and gear to in order to make finished sets.

If I were using GHQ I would still use H&R figures as they are nearer to the right size. The later sets – German PzGr and the 'in action' sets had as much or more life in them than these efforts.

But to each their own. Many like Adler or Bacchus but to me their heads were oversized.
