Battle of New Orleans A few of us got together the weekend after Christmas and ran the Battle of New Orleans using Carnage and Glory II. Photos of the event can be found at link Mike Paine, Steve Umbrell and Walter Clover ran the Americans and Leo Walsh and Scot Monteith ran the British. The British were unable to breach the American entrenchments but won a minor victory nevertheless. A lucky rocket strike caused Coffees West Tennessee Mounted Volunteers to retreat off the board and eventually disperse. A failure to use Old Hickory to rally the trrops lost the US the game. Damned rockets. |
