In my quest to play out a campaign as well as some of the battles that make up the campaign, I've come to the realization that I would like a campaign map. Something more on an operational, "theater-wide" scale than a map of Europe. Without paying 40 bucks for an old board game, is there another way to find something like this? Topographic maps? Not sure what scale would work for something like this. Has anyone tried the Berthier software? If I could find the appropriate image, I'd even consider having a poster printed. |

for a map, get either a large map of the area (modern), or a road atlas. ignore motorways, and you pretty well have a map of whatever part of Europe you are looking at in 1700s. (need to ensure that you do not include cities that were less important/not present at the time) If that sounds like a bit of a faff… there are campaign maps for other systems on the web. try murat.ca/maps (I think?) |
