I've been up to the usual Moab II nonsense again. This time I'm making trees. (Every desert planet needs trees, right?) It being the holiday season I got out the leftovers from last years tree that I'd squirelled away in a coffee tin all year. Meant to do this LAST year, but hey, sometimes we're slow.
Assorted 40K miniatures included for scale. They are NOT made from pine. Nor are the cardboard walls, which are included more for interest than scale, since nobody but me really knows how big they are. But anyway . . . I'm debating washing them with a little green, but I'm not sure I want to. Can't quite decide. You get the idea. I talk a little about them on mah blog, of course, but the good art is all here and they really are pretty self explanatory. As always, thanks. |

Those look pretty neat. I'll bet they'd look equally good in purple, red, or orange as well, for an even more, alien look. |

Thank you Mako11. May try some alternative colors in near future. I'm thinking I'll start with muted, since the world is mostly supposed to be fairly dusty. And green makes biological sense in a universe through which humainty has long been spreading. Alien plants could even evolve from Terran ancestors. But different colors and flowers could be a really interesting contrast note, and those could be quite wild indeed. |
