So big you don't even have to move it once it's deployed on the battlefield.

Marvelous job! I've been staring at my own un-built ironclad for weeks trying to figure out just how I want to build it. I was considering doing something like the scout car/dinghy arrangement for mine, but this is great!

That is a really cool bit of kit!

WOW what a build.

Nice gaming table also BTW.

Definitely gets this weeks OOOH SHINY! award. I love these larger models but they have limited utility on the table.

That's why I did not add one to my AQotMF Kickstarter. They are quite cool but I saw them as a show piece more than something that would actually play in a game regularly. And I have little enough shelf space as it is… 8)=

But this is a beautiful job on the model!!

Happy you enjoyed it boys!. (smile)

Coolest feature is that this unit blows out steam to dull or negate the impact of the Martian Heat Ray. Brilliant. You are going to need this one's auto loading 12 inch gun when the Overlord and Dominator Tripods are released. Read the rule book for just how bad they are going to be.

They do tip the balance of power…we have two in our group. The 12-inch gun destroys anything that it hits. Not sure how that will work with the dominator since the 12-inch gun rule states that with a 10 or more as a result it destroys its target. We will probably count that a a critical hit.

But it is easy to get damaged during a game, ours have already taken some elbows to the mast and control tower when players are trying to measure distances.

Am not sure if it is important, but the Land Ironclad moves FOUR inches. The two move turn distance is then eight inches. A Fast move which prohibits all shooting allows another four inches in the first movement phase. So, the model could move 12 inches if pushed to it.

The model dominates everything in front of it and every thing it sees to either side. If I am a Martian player, I am going as far from this thing as possible.
