Has anyone read this book, seems interesting. |

I read it a very long time ago. I really don't recall that much about it, so it apparently didn't make much of an impression on me. |

On par with Sharpes. But I read them a loooong time ago. |

I liked all the Dando novels. Recommend them all. |

Agree with Brian. That's an old one! Ages since I read them! |

They were written back in the 70s, but I enjoyed them; as Mad Monkey 1 says they are on par with Sharpes, perhaps a tad better. The author certainly had an interesting career, serving in both WWII & Korea, starting off in the ranks and finishing as a Commander, RN. I didn't realise that it is the same guy that wrote "The Witchfinder General". link link |

It is very good. Really give you the wargamer feel for the Mutiny. |

Read'em all when I was a kid, great, easy reads. |

A good series, better written than many other more recent efforts, with plenty of ideas for gaming scenarios. The Sheridan series by VA Stuart , another 60's veteran, is also worth a look |

I found the Dando novels to be a bit too gritty for my taste but I'm sure they're more faithful to their times than other novels. YMMV. |
